Our collective is 10 years in the making. We came together from different cultures, backgrounds and experiences. Our eclectic, group of Artists, is the backbone of Éala Productions. Our ideas help shape the direction and mission of our organization as it continues to develop. Read on to learn more about some of our incredible team members.

ELIZABETH MOYNIHAN
Founder
Elizabeth Moynihan is a writer and actor.
Raised in Youghal, Co Cork, she began training with Deirdre O'Connell at Focus Theatre, Dublin. Performing in over 30 shows in the U.K. and Ireland, including August: Osage County with Steppenwolf at the National Theatre UK.
As a playwright, her already extensive work includes the award winning Cider Queens RTE.( Zebbie Award for best radio drama) “Slaughterhouse, Swan”, hit of the Absolute Gay theatre festival where it received five nominations and four awards including Best New play.
She made her playwriting debut at the Peacock theatre (The National Theatre of Ireland) with ‘Marvel’. One of her most recent plays 'Quicksand' had a run in June 2019 at The New Theatre, Dublin. It was adapted for Radio, the first radio drama produced post lockdown by RTE radio in April 2021 Going on to win an IMRO for best radio drama.
CLARA ONYEMERE
Associate Director
Clara trained as an Actor at Arts Educational drama school. She trained as a director at The City Lit, before going on to work as an actor for the last 25 years and directing theatre since 2015.
She is a founder member of 'Immediate Theatre Company', who recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. As well as acting in innumberable shows with Immediate, she directed and facilitated the 'Youth Theatre Company'. Going on to work as facilitator/ filmmaker on the mix media project “The Big Blue Fence” Olympic project.
Her professional directing debut was on Terry Burn’s critically acclaimed play “Plain English”. Clara is currently directing Éala Productions play 'Shades of Pemberley/Black Girls Love Jane Austen Too'. Written by Elizabeth Moynihan, inspired by the actor Sybille Wehrli's early life.
Clara is thrilled to be Associate Directo/Actor in the Éala collective.
As an actor Clara has worked on numerous productions in companys and theatres including: RSC, The National Theatre, Shared Experience, Glasgow Citizens , Oxford Playhouse, The Tron Theatre, The water mill Theatre, Manchester Library Theatre, Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal, The Oval House Theatre, Hackney Empire The Gate Theatre, The Bush Theatre, Riverside studios.
Recent stage work includes 'Youth without God' adapted by Oscar winning Christopher Hampton.


FERGUS CAHILLANE
Associate Music Director
Fergus is a multi instrumentalist from Dublin. He sings in the renowned vocal group ANÚNA and has cut his teeth singing and presenting the group on stage from China to Morocco. He has performed in ‘Song for Japan’ in Tokyo, ‘the BBC Proms’ in Northern Ireland and is especially proud to host an eclectic night of music and stories in the Stag's Head public house in the heart of Dublin.
Last summer Fergus took on the moniker Faró to collaborate with English folk artist Sam Lee. Faró has since evolved; exploring Irish and Scottish folk songs with drums, pipes and 3 part harmonies.
Fergus is a founding member of a new, Irish/Icelandic vocal ensemble, M’ANAM (Irish: my soul) and was just nominated a Contemporary Acapella Award (CARA) with the song Ardí Cuain from the group's album, M'ANAM
PAMELA MCQUEEN
Dramaturg
Pamela is New Play Dramaturg at The New Theatre, Dublin since 2018. Plays there include Jane McCarthy’s ‘The Harvest’ ;
‘We Can’t Have Monkeys in the House’ by Ciara E. Smyth; ‘The Tide’ by Tara Marie Lovett & ‘Quicksand’ by Elizabeth Moynihan. Pamela was dramaturg for Clare Monnelly’s play ‘Minefield’ in Dublin Fringe Festival 2019 under a Stewart Parker Trust mentorship.
She was also a Creative Ireland/DLRArts mentor with Ali Hardiman (2019) . Also Arts Disability Ireland mentor for Roderick Ford (2018) including developing ‘The Spider’s House’ which won the Realise Award, currently in production at Project Arts Centre, Dublin March 2020.
She was Associate Dramaturg of the Tron Theatre, Glasgow productions included Olivier award winning Roadkill by Cora Bissett & Stef Smith (2011).
She has an M.Litt in Dramaturgy & Playwriting from the University of Glasgow.


ZOE TEMPLEMAN-YOUNG
Associate Artist
Zoë is an actor, director and published playwright. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and is the Artistic Director of Écoute Theatre. Her directing credits include Take Care (Network Theatre) and It's Always Beautiful Over There (Camden Fringe). And more recently associate director of Young Vic production Hamlet with Cush Jumbo (Hamlet), Tara Fitzgerald (Gertrude) and Adrian Dunbar (Claudius/The Ghost).
SYBILLE WEHRLI
Associate Artist
Born in Africa, raised in Europe and studied in America, Sybille expanded her craft through different cultures.
After studying in France at the “Théâtre Jeune Publique (TJP)” a pre-conservatory to the National Theater of Strasbourg (TNS), she decided to pursue her training at the University of Washington DC, where she graduated with a BA in Dramatic Arts and Mass communication.
Finally, her training took her to New York when she was accepted at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. Upon her return to Paris, she began working in television; Presenting the Ceremony of the Popai Awards at the Champs Elysee Wagram Theatre, for several years.
She currently lives and works as an actor in London. She is in the Amazon Prime series Mammals alongside James Corden and Sally Hawkins.
